Welcome to Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare. This is a unique place designed to provide an optimal environment to regain physical and cognitive function and reclaim the ability to live life to one's fullest potential. The 31-bed Medical-Surgical Wing expansion to Casa Colina Hospital opened on April 1, 2016, and is a bold step to go even further to fulfill the needs in our community and define our future as a regional Center of Excellence in medical and rehabilitation services.
We understand that there are ongoing structural changes in how people receive medical services. The opening of the Casa Colina Medical Office Building and addition of the Medical-Surgical Wing help Casa Colina meet the challenge of those changes while remaining dedicated to our tradition of providing each patient with the best opportunity for medical recovery and rehabilitation success. These additions reinforce that tradition and extend Casa Colina's renowned continuum of care. This is a place where the needs of our community and its physicians can be met at the very highest levels.
Casa Colina recognizes the importance of caring for every patient, one by one. It is the leadership of our dedicated surgeons and physicians who specialize in physical medicine and rehabilitation—and many other physician specialists, nurses, therapists, and support staff—that helps us fulfill our mission: to optimize medical recovery and rehabilitation outcomes for all patients in a safe environment that respects their dignity, diversity, and individuality.
But we do not pursue our mission in isolation. We have built dynamic relationships with UCLA's Department of Neurosurgery, San Antonio Regional Hospital, and many other organizations to create the healthcare network in our region. We continue to work actively with the American Medical Rehabilitation Providers Association (AMRPA) as a leading West Coast representative, advocating on behalf of the patients we serve and our community's needs.
We have guided thousands of people in countless ways through our distinct levels of care, serving nearly 15,000 individuals last year alone. Our continuum of care spans the broadest range of inpatient and outpatient services. It also includes long-term residential care and phenomenal experiences through our Outdoor Adventures program.
Thank you for visiting. Please let us know if there is any way we can be of assistance to you.
