Pomona, CA… Casa Colina Foundation is pleased to announce a fundraising event to help support medical and rehabilitation services for children on Friday, September 29 from 6:30 pm to 10:30 pm. The event will be held at Puddingstone Hilltop Resort located at 1777 Campers View Road in San Dimas.
Evening festivities will include a ranch BBQ, gourmet desserts, mechanical bull, line dancing, live and silent auction, a special “diamond” drawing and live music provided by the Silverados. Hosted beer and wine will be served and champagne will also be available. No one under the age of 21 please.
During the event, the Casa Colina Foundation will present the annual “Friend of the Children Award” to Clarissa Winslow, who has been instrumental in leading much of the fundraising activities to benefit Casa Colina’s Children’s Services. She also works tirelessly to educate parents about the wide range of specialized medical and rehabilitative pediatric services available at Casa Colina.
Casa Colina’s first “National Ambassador Award” will also be presented to Dr. Margaret Bauman, a world-renowned pediatric neurologist and research investigator in the field of autism. Her pioneering work has led to numerous clinical and research advances in the field of autism and related neurological disorders. Her efforts have had a profound impact on medical and rehabilitation professionals as well as people diagnosed with autism. Dr. Bauman is the medical director at Casa Colina Children’s Services Autism Program.

Casa Colina provides services to nearly 7,000 children and adults each year through medically supervised inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs.
