NEW STATE-OF THE-ART SPINE CARE CENTERS OPEN AT TWO CASA COLINA LOCATIONS
Pomona, CA.....It is estimated that 80% of the population will experience back pain at some time in their lives. Casa Colina Centers for Rehabilitation is pleased to announce that it is now offering comprehensive back care services at two locations in Southern California. These Spine Centers are located at Casa Colina’s 20-acre Pomona campus and its outpatient satellite center in Azusa.

Both Casa Colina Spine Centers, which opened for patient care in July 2009, are designed to help individuals with chronic and acute back problems overcome the pain and disability associated with their condition. The Casa Colina Spine Center physicians provide a complete patient assessment and consultation and strive to eliminate back pain through a non-surgical approach with traditional and alternative medicine treatments, as well as patient education. If surgical intervention is necessary, the Casa Colina Spine Center team also includes highly trained neurosurgeons with training in spinal procedures.

Physicians who specialize in physical medicine and rehabilitation lead Casa Colina’s Spine Centers. These board-certified medical doctors work closely with experienced therapists and other clinical experts providing a multidisciplinary, comprehensive approach to patient care. Team members include physical therapists with expertise in the treatment of spine and special certification in orthopedics and neurology, occupational therapists with ergonomic training, psychologists with knowledge in pain management, orthotics and prosthetics professionals, neurosurgeons, neurologists, pain management doctors, radiologists and other medical specialists. Other services include aquatic therapy, ergonomic evaluation and training, biofeedback, Pilates, sleep studies, home exercise program instruction, and more. Additional services may include referrals to acupuncture, massage therapy, nutritional services, and yoga.

Both the Pomona and Azusa centers provide medical and rehabilitation services in one convenient location. Oftentimes, a patient may schedule a physician visit immediately followed by therapy treatment, which allows the doctor to see firsthand how their patients are progressing with rehabilitation, and make adjustment to treatment if necessary. This ensures that the patient progresses as quickly as possible.

“We are proud to open our new Spine Care Centers at two Casa Colina locations in Southern California, and to delivering top quality medical and rehabilitative care to people in the Inland Empire, foothill areas, and the surrounding communities. We are dedicated to developing other specialized medical and rehabilitation programs that will help so many people with disabling conditions,” stated Dr. Felice Loverso, President and CEO of Casa Colina.

Casa Colina Spine Centers are conveniently located at 255 East Bonita Avenue (at Garey) in Pomona and at the Casa Colina Azusa Center at 910 East Alosta Avenue in Azusa. For more information, please call the Casa Colina Pomona Campus at 866/724-4130 or the Casa Colina Azusa Center at 626/334-8735.
