Casa Colina Hosts Free Community Seminar on February 16 “Managing & Treating Chronic Wounds”

Pomona, CA -Casa Colina Centers for Rehabilitation is inviting community members to attend a free seminar, "Managing & Treating Chronic Wounds," on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The seminar will be held at Casa Colina's Tamkin Education Center, Building 1D, located at 255 East Bonita Avenue (at Garey) in Pomona.

Seminar presenters include Kerry Gott, M.D., Program Medical Director of both the Casa Colina Wound Care Center and Hyperbaric Medicine Center; Jeffrey Bruening, D.P.M.; and Bryce D. Beseth, M.D., General and Vascular Surgery.

Topics of discussion include diabetic and other leg wounds that are difficult to heal, circulation problems in legs that may cause wounds, benefits of podiatric assessments and care, and use of hyperbaric oxygen therapy for the treatment of wounds.
