Pomona, CA…Casa Colina is pleased to announce that it will hold free balance screenings the second and fourth Thursday of each month from 9 am to 12 noon beginning in February 2011.  Screenings will be held at the Tamkin Outpatient Center, Building 1D, which is located at Casa Colina's 20-acre medical and rehabilitation campus located at 255 East Bonita Avenue (at Garey) in Pomona. 

A licensed therapist will conduct the individual screening and consultation.

People who are unsteady on their feet and/or feel off balance may greatly improve this condition with the proper treatment and help to prevent serious falls.  New technologies may be introduced at the screening which includes:

• Neurocom Balance Equipment and Technology
• Sensory organization testing
• Dedicated equipment designed to improve balance and vestibular conditions
