Treatment for Fibromyalgia in Southern California

What is fibromyalgia? It is a disorder that affects the way pain signals are processed in the central nervous system. It often disturbs the body's management of mood, sleep, and energy.

We created the Casa Colina Fibromyalgia Center to help individuals better cope with chronic fibromyalgia pain and fibromyalgia tender points. Casa Colina has a rheumatologist-led team of clinical experts that takes a comprehensive approach to fibromyalgia treatment. They focus on each individual's fibromyalgia symptoms, which can be both physical and psychological.

This program is recommended if you have (or had):

  • Widespread pain
  • Sensitivity to touch
  • Tingling skin
  • Nerve pain
  • Lengthy muscle spasms
  • Weakness of the limbs
  • Muscle twitching
  • Palpitations
  • Debilitating fatigue
  • Joint stiffness
  • Difficulty swallowing
  • Bladder or bowel problems
  • Numbness
  • Tingling
  • Cognitive dysfunction plus depressions and anxiety
  • Stress related disorders, such as post-traumatic stress
  • Impaired concentration
  • Cognitive overload
  • Short-term and long-term memory problems

We can also help individuals navigate the challenges of this disorder with our Fibromyalgia Management Program, an 8-week program that provides aquatic exercise, education, and stress-reduction techniques to improve one's overall sense of wellness.

Casa Colina also offers support groups for adults and teens with fibromyalgia.

Though there is no cure for fibromyalgia, there are a wide range of techniques available to reduce the severity of your symptoms. To speak with a representative, please call 909/596-7733, ext. 3500 or toll-free 866/724-4127, ext. 3500.
