Other medical studies indicate that 45 million Americans have chronic headaches. These recurring and severe headaches not only cause pain and discomfort, but they can also interfere with one’s work, relationships, and social life.

What causes headaches? The Headache Center at Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare, a Joint Commission accredited facility, is a unique physician-directed program designed to help individuals, ages 5 and older, discover how to prevent or better manage recurring headaches. Patient care is overseen by a board-certified neurologist who directs a team of headache specialists at one convenient location.

The Casa Colina Headache Center is recommended for those who suffer many types of headaches, including:

We Offer Many Treatment Options

Yes, you can get headache relief. If you've tried several headache remedies, such as over-the-counter medications, please don't be discouraged. Different headaches require different treatments. The Casa Colina Headache Center offers state-of-the-art equipment and technology to help diagnose and alleviate headaches. We also provide our patients with education to help them understand why headaches happen, such as migraine triggers, and how they can be managed with little or no discomfort.

In some cases, our physicians may recommend admission to an acute-care hospital for a complete neurological assessment or to stabilize a person with acute headache pain. Upon discharge, the individual will receive treatment at the Casa Colina Headache Center based on the results of this inpatient assessment.
