COMMUNITY SUPPORT GROUPS OFFERED AT CASA COLINA CENTERS FOR REHABILITATION


Pomona, CA… A series of ongoing community support groups are offered at Casa Colina Centers for Rehabilitation. Support groups are designed and presented by Casa Colina's clinical staff and are structured to help community members with various health related issues that involve medical rehabilitation. Ongoing sessions include the following:

Alzheimer's & Dementia Caregiver Support Group
Designed for caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other related dementia. No children please. Free. Meets the third Thursday of each month from 6:30 to 8 pm at the Adult Day Health Care Center. (Group does not meet June, July and August) Call 909/596-7733, Ext. 4413.

Brain Injury Caregiver Support Group
Support group for caregivers of individuals who have acquired brain injury. Free. Meets the third Tuesday of each month from 6 to 7 pm at the Transitional Living Center. Call 909/596-7733, Ext. 4100.

Brain Injury Support Group
Support group for individuals who have acquired brain injury. $5 per session. Meets the second and fourth Monday of each month from 3 to 4 pm at the Transitional Living Center. Call 909/596-7733, Ext. 4100.

Fibromyalgia Support Group
Provides personal and educational support for people with Fibromyalgia. No children please. Free. Meets the third Thursday of the month, 4 to 5 pm at the Adult Day Health Care Center. Call 909/596-7733, Ext 3502.

Parent Support Services
Call 909/596-7733, Ext. 4230 for information.

Speech Conversation Group
Adults with difficulties in speaking due to stroke, brain injury or neurological disorders practice communication skills. $10 per session Meets every Tuesday from 3 to 4 pm in the Tamkin Education Center, Room C. Call 909/596-7733, Ext. 3035.
