We know no one ever expects to be in the hospital. We're also quite certain no one ever expects a hospital to be anything
like this one. Everything here is different. First and foremost, it is the way our staff of clinical professionals works together.
Led by doctors, they continually collaborate to ensure each patient receives the optimal treatment - and his or her family
members remain informed and involved.
You see, when we designed Casa Colina Hospital, we thought of what we'd want for our own loved ones. Of course, it had
to be safe. So this 68-bed acute rehabilitation facility meets all requirements of the Hospital Facilities Seismic Safety Act (SB1953).
It also had to be pleasing to the senses and include all those little things that can make patients feel better. So each private and
semi-private room includes the comforts of home - a private bathroom, cabinetry, personal television, and a desk with Internet
access for laptop computers. More insulation between the walls, floors and ceilings creates a quieter atmosphere. The windows
feature wooden plantation shutters and look out onto beautifully landscaped gardens and picturesque mountain views - with
courtyards that are easily accessible for enjoying time outdoors.
Down the hall, our day rooms provide comfortable areas for visiting with loved ones, watching television on a large screen, or enjoying
games, puzzles and other recreational activities.
If it weren't for the state-of-the-art equipment, such as an advanced patient/nurse communication system and a comfortable
hydraulic patient lift system, you might think you were in a 5-star resort.
