Support Groups

Due to ongoing concerns over the spread of Covid-19, some of our Support Groups are meeting online or in limited numbers in person. Please check the status of each of our support groups below, and thank you for your continued understanding.

Comfort and Company

The road to recovery can be challenging for patients and their loved ones. It often helps to connect with others going through similar experiences. Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare offers a number of support groups for patients, outpatients, and their loved ones or caregivers. These groups offer not only emotional and peer support, but important educational information.

Groups, times, and locations are subject to change. Please call the numbers listed below for more information or to confirm schedule prior to attendance.

ALS Support Group

Acquired Brain Injury Support Group

Limit 6 attendees per meeting. Please contact facilitator below to secure your spot.

The Acquired Brain Injury Support Group provides a supportive meeting place for individuals with acquired brain injury, including traumatic brain injury, stroke, brain tumor, metabolic encephalopathies, anoxic brain injury, and seizures. This group provides peer support for injured individuals' successful community reintegration after being discharged from a structured program.

Acquired Brain Injury Caregiver Support Group

Our Caregiver Support group offers support and socialization for those providing care for family or friends with an acquired brain injury.

Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Support Group

Group provides a meeting place for individuals with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome to offer peer support and share information, resources, and education related to this condition.

Fibromyalgia Support Group

Provides personal and educational support for adults diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Facilitated by Dianne Whiting, MA, PT, manager of the Fibromyalgia Program at Casa Colina. No children please.
