Neurological and Orthopedic Rehabilitation in Southern California
Casa Colina Signature Programs & Services
Casa Colina has a 75-year history of developing and providing innovative
care in Southern California. In particular, our signature programs are
world-renown for addressing neurological and orthopedic conditions, and
providing the medical and rehabilitation expertise and services needed
for patients with:
Through proven clinical pathways and various levels of care, each signature
program concentrates on the individual needs of every patient. Casa Colina
offers a complete continuum of care, which often begins with an inpatient
stay at The Joint Commission-accredited
Casa Colina Hospital. A physician-directed team of rehabilitation specialists works together
to help foster optimal results with three hours of therapy, five days
or more each week. And nurses with specialized training in rehabilitation
provide patient care around the clock.
Upon being discharged from
Casa Colina Hospital, some individuals may receive additional therapy at
Casa Colina's Outpatient Center, while others may not be completely ready to return to their home and
community settings and may require short-term residential care to further
their rehabilitation. Casa Colina's CARF-accredited
Transitional Living Center, located on campus directly across from the hospital, offers a setting
where individuals from the Los Angeles County and beyond may benefit from
six hours of individual and group therapy, six days a week. A day treatment
program is also available.
And to make the journey to recovery easier for patients, there is housing
available on a first come, first served basis for their families while
they receive care at
Casa Colina Hospital or the
Transitional Living Center.
Some patients may continue to need additional therapy once they return
home to foster greater independence. The Home and Community program offers
private occupational therapy to help make the transition to home, school,
and work environments go smoothly. Those who require ongoing assistance
and supervision may benefit from Casa Colina's
long-term residential centers.
