Freestyle Motorcycle Performers Metal Mulisha and U.S. Army Black Hawk Helicopter to Appear this Sunday, October 29, 2006 Pomona, CA…. Casa Colina Centers for Rehabilitation Foundation, in partnership with Pomona Valley Harley Davidson and Pomona Valley HOG Chapter, is proud to announce that renowned freestyle motocross performers Metal Mulisha will perform at approximately 2pm at this Sunday’s fundraising event at Casa Colina. The well-known motocross performers confirmed their attendance just today, Wednesday, October 25. Metal Mulisha performers will also be available to sign autographs at the event.

Also confirmed today is the participation of the March Field Honor Guard, which will present the National Anthem and posting of colors while the US Army, Delta Company 7150 Aviation Division will fly a Black Hawk helicopter over Casa Colina’s 20-acre campus to initiate the official opening of the fundraising event. Proceeds from the event will be used to support physical rehabilitation services at Casa Colina for local and national heroes who include military personnel, veterans, police officers, firefighters, and other civil servants. Casa Colina is a non-profit community provider and provides medical and rehabilitation services to individuals, regardless of their ability to pay.

Motorcycle riding participants will enjoy a Poker Run starting at Casa Colina between 9:30 and 11 am which includes a scenic ride to Mt. Baldy, Pomona Valley Harley Davidson, Montclair Fire station, and eventually returning to Casa Colina for the day’s festivities. A cash gift of $400 will be awarded for the Best Hand and $200 for the Low Hand. The non-riding portion of the event will occur at Casa Colina from 11 am to 4pm and will include live music by the Reno Jones Band, BBQ lunch, beer garden, bike show, raffles, and a drawing for a 2007 Harley Davidson Street Glide motorcycle. The first 1,000 people registered at the event will receive a free ride patch and rocker patch.

Key sponsors include the Asbestos Workers Union Local 5, Nevell Group Inc., JB Specialty Contractor, Schapiro & Leventhal, LLP, and Sheldon Mechanical Inc.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at either Pomona Valley Harley Davidson or at the Casa Colina Foundation. Ticket are $35 per couple or $20 per individual. Street Glide raffle tickets are available for $10 each. Tickets will also be sold day of the event.
