How can an evaluation help?
Casa Colina’s Neuropsychology Evaluation Services can help to confirm
or clarify a diagnosis, determine next steps in recovery and treatment,
and discuss practical implications of ongoing challenges related to the
patient’s injury or illness.
We provide a profile of strengths and weaknesses to guide rehabilitative,
educational, and vocational services, documenting changes in functioning,
including the effects of treatment. Based on our evaluation, we can generate
referrals for neuropsychological treatment to other specialists, including
speech pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, neurologists,
psychiatrists, social workers, special education teachers, and vocational
counselors.
Neuropsychology evaluation services also provide valuable education and
guidance to family members or caregivers, helping them to better understand
the challenges faced by patients with these conditions.
Does my health insurance cover this evaluation?
