When You Arrive

The following procedures have been implemented to ensure the highest levels of safety for visiting patients and staff across all of Casa Colina’s locations. Please review and be prepared to comply with the following policies before visiting Casa Colina’s Pomona campus or any of its satellite locations.

Facemasks and Temperature Screening Stations

The California Department of Public Health continues to require the use of facemasks within healthcare facilities, regardless of vaccination status. Please wear a facemask while visiting Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare.

All patients and visitors to Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare facilities will be screened upon entry. Casa Colina will provide masks at the main entrances for those who do not have one. To ensure all visitors are screened, we have limited access to all buildings at the main point of entry.

Social Distancing

Casa Colina has implemented a strict policy to enforce social distancing across our Pomona campus and satellite locations. Signs are located throughout all our facilities to remind individuals to maintain six feet of distance in public space at all times. We have taken extra precautions such as providing floor markings in areas where individuals wait in line and spacing all seating six feet apart in common areas like lobbies, waiting areas, and the Casa Colina Café.

Handwashing

All outpatients must use hand sanitizing stations available at our Pomona campus and satellite location lobbies, or they must visit one of our bathroom facilities to wash hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds before scheduled appointments.

Other Important Information

  • If you have recently been sick, please ensure you are free of fever for 72 hours before visiting Casa Colina’s Pomona campus or any of its satellite locations.
  • If you have been experiencing a cough or fever, please do not visit Casa Colina’s Pomona campus or satellite locations. Please remain at home and contact your primary care provider for care recommendations.
  • Healthy vendors are allowed on campus and satellite locations for medically necessary appointments that are related directly to patient care. Vendors will be screened and have their temperature taken before being permitted to enter any facilities.
  • The Casa Colina Café is available to patients and visitors who adhere to facemask requirements and follow active infection control policies.
