In its continued efforts to educate the community about stroke awareness and prevention, Casa Colina is pleased to host a free community seminar on Thursday, May 17. Guest speakers include David Patterson, M.D., board certified physiatrist and Medical Director of Rehabilitation at Casa Colina; and Bhupat Desai, M.D., neurologist.

Topics of discussion include what is a stroke and who is at risk, stroke prevention, stroke management and advances in medical treatment, how to manage spasticity, and the benefits or rehabilitation after a stroke. A question and answer session will follow the presentation. Refreshments will be served and seating is limited.
