Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare Now Recruiting PM&R Residents

The Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Residency Program at Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare is pleased to announce an ongoing open search for its 2024 cohort of medical residents. This three-year, comprehensive, structured training and educational program offers extraordinary training experiences that include learning about and working with the latest rehabilitation therapies and technologies. (Visit the program page.)

Residents in the program are exposed to a wide variety of traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, and stroke cases—Casa Colina’s signature programs—as well as many other neurological and orthopedic diagnoses. Beginning in July, the program accepts three post-graduate, year 2 (PGY-2) physicians annually.

“The breadth of clinical experience offered by our rehabilitation programs makes us truly unique,” says Justin Phillips, MD, program director. “Rotations include inpatient, outpatient, transitional care, interventional pain, orthopedic/musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, pediatrics, electromyography, consultations, and electives. And we offer competitive salary and benefits.”

The deadline to submit ERAS applications for the OPTI-West Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency Program is November 15, 2023. Submitted applications will be forwarded to the Selection Committee for review.
