Quadripilegic - Advanced Technology- Category: Spinal Cord Injury
Description of Trial:
Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare, David Geffen School of
Medicine at UCLA, and the California Institute of Technology are collaborating on a study that allows individuals with paralysis to control a computer using thought alone.

- Exclusion Criteria:
- Subjects with quadriplegia who can:
- Attend Casa Colina 3-5 times a week for at least one year*
- Live within one hour of Casa Colina (Transportation available at no cost)
- Have electrodes implanted surgically, and then removed after one year by
- a leading UCLA neurosurgeon
*Study sessions will last 3-4 hours. During this time, you will learn to control the computer interface with the aide of the study team.
