Preparing for what's next after an injury or illness

When someone has suffered a traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury or other neurological trauma, the idea of returning home after being discharged from the hospital may simply be too overwhelming. It can be difficult to navigate around the house, communicate with loved ones or even get ready for the day - let alone venture out into the workplace and community. More time is needed to adjust to one's challenges after a serious injury or illness. Which is why we created the Casa Colina Transitional Living Center (TLC) to assist adults and adolescents with their recovery. We offer 24-hour residential rehabilitation, day treatment, and home and community services to suit the client's unique medical and rehabilitation needs.

In this intensive, structured therapeutic environment, our therapy team uses a variety of individual and group rehabilitative strategies to maximize each patient's full potential. And to ensure standards of quality are met, the Transitional Living Center is fully accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
