For those who are living at home but still wish to work toward their therapeutic goals following a traumatic injury or illness, Casa Colina's Transitional Living Center (TLC) offers outpatient day treatment services.
With capacity for up to 28 clients, our Day Treatment Program offers five hours daily of physical, occupational, and speech therapies onsite at our TLC, as well as psychology and neuropsychology services when needed, all with the goal of helping our clients further their function and independence.
Admission to this outpatient program is open to individuals ages 18 to 59. Ages 16 to 18 and over 59 will be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
Similarly to our residential services, this program includes intensive individual and group therapy sessions that focus on:
Whether they're in our residential or day treatment program, all of our clients are afforded additional opportunities to practice reintegrating into the community through field trips and other off-site social activities.
For those living at home who may require less intensive daily therapies, we also offer Advanced Day Treatment services. These services include a home visit from our therapists to identify client needs in the home, meet family and caregivers, and discuss community resources available to them. After the initial home visit, Advanced Day Treatment services are provided via telehealth.
