When you spend hours in a wheelchair or seat each day, you want it to fit
your lifestyle. At the Casa Colina Wheelchair & Seating Program, we
understand the complex needs of individuals who require a wheelchair and
specialized seating, considering factors such as skin protection, mobility,
and functionality.
For custom orders, our licensed therapists only work with vendors who meet
the strict standards of the Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology
Society of North America (RESNA). This partnership helps ensure the highest-quality
equipment, plus the finest selection and fit.

The program is not intended for people who are in need of rental or standard manual wheelchairs.
Our Wheelchair & Seating Program offers:
We’ll carefully evaluate your flexibility, strengths, and weaknesses to find equipment that offers the greatest comfort and mobility. We use pressure-mapping technology to evaluate your current seating and wheelchair fit and determine what improvements can be made to reduce any pain, inflammation, or ulcers that often result from poorly fitting equipment. We’ll also consider your home, work, school, and transportation needs.
Before you invest in new equipment, we’ll assess you with trial seating and wheelchair equipment to ensure the proper fit and selection. Then we’ll coordinate the ordering of this equipment from an approved vendor. We will evaluate you in the equipment once it’s obtained if appropriate.
