Our Team

Casa Colina’s Occupational Therapy team brings together highly skilled clinicians dedicated to helping patients regain function and return to activities of daily living.

Through a collaborative approach, our specialists evaluate each patient’s unique goals and challenges to create individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that support recovery, independence, and overall well-being.

Debra Ouellette, MS, OTR/L, BCPR, SCLV, FNAP

As the Outpatient Neuro Program Manager, Debra is dedicated to advancing neurological rehabilitation through evidence-based practice and interdisciplinary care.

With more than 40 years of experience in occupational therapy, Debra has provided care across a wide range of settings, including trauma, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and outpatient services. She has extensive experience treating neurologically impaired patients, serving patients of all ages, and has developed clinical expertise in spasticity management, including serial casting and positioning.

Debra specializes in stroke and spinal cord injury rehabilitation, as well as vision rehabilitation and concussion care. She is passionate about mentorship and education, actively supporting staff development and serving as Director of the Occupational Therapy Physical Rehabilitation Fellowship.

Board Certified in Physical Rehabilitation, Debra also holds a Low Vision certification through AOTA. She is a Distinguished Practitioner Fellow of the National Academies of Practice and a Fellow of AOTA. Her professional contributions include publications, a co-authored motor control chapter, and presentations on neurological rehabilitation and health services research at conferences nationwide.

Susan Yi, OTR/L, PAMs, HTC

Susan serves as Program Manager of the Outpatient Hand Therapy Department, where she specializes in the treatment of upper extremity injuries. She provides individualized, patient-centered care using advanced interventions, including custom orthotic fabrication and therapeutic modalities, to help patients achieve optimal function and return to daily activities.

Susan brings experience working with diverse patient populations, including pediatric, workers’ compensation, and home health settings. She has also treated patients in private outpatient clinics, managing a wide range of conditions from preventative care, such as arthritis management, to post-operative rehabilitation, including flexor tendon repairs.

She earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Stanbridge University and holds certifications in Physical Agent Modalities (PAMs) and Hand Therapy (HTC), supporting her expertise in specialized hand rehabilitation.

Outside of work, Susan enjoys staying active at the gym, playing golf, and exploring new restaurants.
