Where do parents turn when their developmentally disabled children are grown and ready to be out on their own? How do you let go when you know your son or daughter still needs supervision or guidance to perform normal everyday tasks?
The Padua Village Residential Program has become a model for the highest-quality long-term residential care for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. It provides 24-hour care that keeps residents active and engaged and allows each to pursue their own personalized goals and integration into the community.
Thanks to the outpouring of support from our community, we are able to ensure that these adults with intellectual disabilities have a place to call home. In fact, the quality of Padua Village, the staff and the activities program provided here is simply unmatched by any other residential program in Southern California.
Casa Colina Hospital and Centers for Healthcare is pleased to contract with various Regional Centers for some services. The Department of Developmental Services is committed to providing mechanisms for the resolution of problems and complaints when they arise. The Consumer Rights Complaint Process is a mechanism to be used when an individual consumer, or any representative acting on behalf of a consumer, believes that any right has been wrongly or unfairly denied by a regional center, developmental center, or a service provider. Consumers have the right to pursue appeals via the Department of Developmental Services appeals page or by phone at 916/654-1987.
