Innovative Therapeutic Interventions
Clinical research is essential to developing new effective therapeutic
interventions for individuals with medical rehabilitation needs. At the
Casa Colina Research Institute, we focus on the major diagnoses at Casa
Colina to investigate new interventions and support evidence-based clinical
practices for the treatment of disabilities caused by a stroke, traumatic
brain injury, spinal cord injury, and other neurologic conditions and
movement disorders.
"Being in a clinical environment and witnessing firsthand the patient
experience is invaluable," Dr. Emily Rosario, Director of Research
Institute, noted. "We are all passionate here about finding the answers
and tools that will make a difference in people's lives, and in pushing
the boundaries of knowledge about the brain, the nervous system, and the
process of recovery."
