Inpatient Care

Acute Rehabilitation Wing
Inpatient rehabilitation services are provided in a state-of-the-art 68-bed hospital wing for a wide range of medical conditions that include brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, stroke, orthopedic conditions, respiratory disorders, multiple trauma, neurological diseases, wounds and burns. Patient care is supervised by a physician specializing in rehabilitation. Each patient receives three hours of therapy a minimum of five days a week and more than 6.5 hours of licensed nursing daily.

Ventilator Weaning
An inpatient team of pulmonologists and respiratory therapists uses state-of-the-art ventilators and other equipment designed to enhance one's ability to breathe, so that patients eventually become comfortable enough to forego the need for a ventilator entirely.

Medical-Surgical Wing
Inpatient medical-surgical services are provided in a state-of-the-art hospital wing with three spacious surgical suites, a gastroenterology procedure room, a six-bed Intensive Care Unit, and 25 private medical surgical beds designed for the comfort of patients and their families. Highly specialized surgical procedures using robotic technology and minimally invasive equipment is used by the region's top surgeons.

Outpatient Care

Outpatient Center
A wide range of services are offered including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech language pathology, and neuropsychology. A variety of short-term therapies, psychological services, and interdisciplinary therapy services are provided for people with functional impairments due to neurological or orthopedic injuries, surgeries, or disease processes. Certified hand therapy, aquatic therapy, and sports medicine services are also provided.

Children's Services Center
Many programs are offered for children ages 1 month to 15 years with various disabilities or developmental disorders. A pediatric neurologist specializing in Autism Spectrum Disorders oversees the program. Physical, occupational, and speech therapists and early intervention specialists provide.

Azusa Center
This hospital-based outpatient facility offers many of the same services provided at Casa Colina's 20-acre campus in Pomona. Physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech-language pathology, certified hand therapy, and a variety of physician's clinics are offered at this 6,000-square-foot center located in Azusa. Patients are treated for orthopedic and neurological conditions.

Casa Colina's adaptive sports and recreation program empowers people with disabilities through challenging and exciting outdoor activities that build skills and confidence and foster community.

Short-term Residential Care

Transitional Living Center
The 46-bed Residential Treatment Program is dedicated to helping individuals with acquired brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple trauma, and other neurologic conditions who would benefit from participating in comprehensive neuro-cognitive and physical restoration programs. The program promotes the development of skills needed for successful home and community re-integration. The Day Treatment Program offers the same comprehensive neuro-cognitive and physical restoration programs on an outpatient basis. A Home and Community Program is also offered.

Long-term Residential Care

Casa Colina at Apple Valley and Casa Colina at Rancho Piño Verde
These long-term, supervised residential facilities provide onsite vocational opportunities, community education, and recreational activities for adults with brain injuries and other neurological conditions. Casa Colina at Apple Valley offers 54 beds, and Casa Colina at Rancho Piño Verde offers 36 beds.

Padua Village
These long-term, supervised residential facilities are designed specifically for adults with developmental disabilities.

Our Medical Office Building provides a variety of medical services including an urgent care, retail pharmacy, dialysis and vascular center, and private physician practices.

Casa Colina Diagnostic Imaging Center
The center provides state-of-the-art imaging services including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X-Ray, as well as advanced diagnostic procedures. Board certified radiologists are located onsite.

Inland Neurosurgery Institute
The private offices of Lew Disney, MD, Jose Rodriguez, MD, and Ramin Amirnovin, MD, are easily accessed on the campus.

Casa Colina Surgery Center
This state-of-the-art outpatient surgery center is owned by Casa Colina and leased to many of the region's prominent surgeons who operate the facility. The facility is conveniently located on Casa Colina's 20-acre Pomona campus.
